Resist Receives $1,000,000 Donation!

We are extremely excited to announce that Resist has received a $1,000,000 donation!!!

Thanks to the generosity of the charitable branch of ExxonMobil, Resist will no longer have to ask supporters like you for donations!!! 

There are just a few small changes that we have to make in order to comply with restrictions on this big donation:

• We can no longer support groups that are organizing to stop war and militarism (ExxonMobil and other oil companies need to drill all over the world after all). 
• We are no longer able to give grants to organizations that are taking on capitalism and multinational corporations (profit always has to come before people). 
• We are unable to fund any organization that is working for environmental and climate justice (combating climate change can be costly, you know). 

Those are just some of the very minor changes we have to make to our grantmaking, but we feel that it isn't that big of a deal for this amount of money. 

Looking forward to continue our fight for the 99%, ooops, we mean 1%!
