Join us in Bidding Kendra Farewell

January 11, 2022

After six years at Resist, Kendra Hicks has transitioned out of her role as Director of Radical Philanthropy.

We are grateful for Kendra playing a pivotal role in transforming Resist for the better. Today, we can call ourselves a Worker Self-Directed Non-profit with strong mutual support and accountability practices; honor the vision of resource redistribution by shifting power to grantees in grants decision-making; connect with 100+ sustainers that give recurring gifts to Resist - because of her leadership.

While we will miss Kendra’s many gifts, humor, and prolific meme shares, we are excited for her to take on her new role as a Boston City Councilor, where we have no doubt that she will continue to advocate on behalf of and move resources to communities most impacted by oppression.

Moving forward, for donor-related questions and requests, please contact Seth at Seth@resist.org in the interim.

Join us in celebrating Kendra’s legacy by making a donation in support of the hundreds of grassroots groups moving us all closer to a world where the impossible is made possible.

To continued work for justice and liberation,

Kathy, Yani, and Seth
