Support Resist's Emergency Grant Fund!

November 7, 2017

Dear Resister,

As I write to you, people are voting across the country. But we know that equally vital to voting is civic engagement the other 364 days of the year.

Thankfully, people are continually rising up, resisting, and taking action.

Requests for emergency funds to stage protests are pouring into this office from progressive grassroots organizations across the country.

Especially now, these protests are vital tools of resistance - and we must respond.

An Emergency Grant from Resist can make them possible (and successful!)by covering costs like permits, legal fees, sound systems, leaflets, and bus fare.

Our smaller, special Emergency Grants enable activist groups to react with power and immediacy to injustices in their communities and beyond.

I hope you've received my recent letter requesting your support. We want you to know that we are working tirelessly to help our allies on the frontlines amplify their message to build a better world, and we need your help.

I cannot thank you enough for your past generosity. But the truth is that we distribute the money we receive as quickly as we raise it. Resist donors like you provide one-hundred percent of the funds we distribute.

That's why we're counting on you today to contribute to support our vital Emergency Grant Fund with a tax-deductible gift of $25, $50 or $100 , or your best gift of any amount. Please, will you help?

Injustice is rampant in the US. The situation might seem desperate today, but Resist has overcome incredible odds in our 50-year history.

And we will do so again and again and again with your help.  If you have already responded to our recent appeal, you have our gratitude.

If not, or maybe you are able to give again, I urge you to be generous. Our grassroots allies on the ground need us.

Please contribute to our Emergency Grant Fund today!

In solidarity,

Saif Rahman

Resist Co-Director

P.S. It takes concerned, generous activists like you to help us provide the small Emergency Grants that add up to make a constant barrage of on-the-spot progressive protests possible. Please contribute
