Today is #GivingTuesday. It's a day celebrated in response to Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and to the entire consumer culture we swim in. On this day, people are encouraged to donate to causes they believe in.

In reality, these groups are the ones who give to all of us. They are part of a long tradition of those who stand up, resist the rich and powerful, and organize their communities to the benefit of all of us.

Against all the odds and despite having a fraction of the money as those in power have, they not only continue to resist, they continue to win.

We know what works. We know moves society towards peace, justice, and collective liberation.

And most of all, we know they need all of our support.
